Smile Hello

Hey everyone,

Im new to the forums im from Australia and have a Audi A4 1996 2.6L V6 i just bought it about 2 weeks ago and after driving it over the weekend i turned on the heater and after about 15mins there was steam coming out though the air vents.

It freaked me out so i pulled over to check it up and it all stoped as i started driving again it was doing the same thing even if the hearter or aircon was off, so i got it towed back to my place where it is sitting there now.

Yesturday morning i woke up to find that there is no coolant in the vehicle?

What could be the problem here?

I also checked my passenger side floor and it is wet.

Thanks,

Welcome to the forum

Is the car over heating ???

Sounds like you got a water pipe or radiator leak as your loosing coolent??

I would get it into a garage for further inspection on the ramps .

Let us know how you get on !!!

Sounds like the heater matrix has got a split in it which is now in the heater system and the reason your lossing water.
