hello i have audi a4 quattro 1999 and i would like to cut out the high prices of mechanics and false diagnosis by getting my own VAG-com or diagnostic tester to check my car to see if there is anything wrong with it. which is the best tester out there or also the best one for a reasonable price??

If you have a lap top you can get an obd lead from ebay and download the Ross-Tech software as AllWheelGrip says and plug the car into the laptop to read for fault codes .
