They are basically the same car apart from power outputs and maybe a slightly different suspension set up.
The RS4 will always come out on top but its going to to cost more money.

Thats a strange first post question mikeehline . lol

Its the same under the paint... as about the same... but as T-SPORT says the RS4 comes out a little better in the crash test!! (thats because on that lump in the engine bay!!)

Also a car is only as safe as you drive......... unless an idoit pulls out on you!!

I was thinking maybe the RS-4 was safer. The Porshe turbo is apparently the safest car. I have a great link on my website under valuable links.

i would say the A8/S8 are the safest audis out there
