Default Help replacing Symphony radio

I'm replacing my Symphony radio ('03 A4) with a Kenwood DNX5120. I can't find an ignition lead lead on any of the radio connectors to turn the radio on & off. I have the Metra adapter cable and Metra swears the lead is there on all Audis.

Any suggestions?

Default Symphony Power Connections

From my research (wire diagrams and web) Symphony radios have power on several pins.

Connector III (T8f) pin 7 +12 Con from fuse box (Red/Yellow wire)
Connector III (T8f) pin 4 +12 ACC from fuse box (Black/Red wire -- maybe Symphony I only)
Connector IV (T10z) pin 2 +12 ACC from fuse box (Black/Red wire)

There are others labeled +12 but i think they are outputs to CD changers and the like.

As I have a 2000 A6 2.7t with a Symphony I, w/Bose, yours maybe different. Check the sticker on your radio, sometimes they have pin-outs.

Is there anything wrong with your Symphony? Do you want to sell it?
If so, What type is it? (I, II, II+ or III) What features does it have? (Changer, Sat buttons, mp3 capable ect.)

I am looking to replace a broken Sym1 with a newer stock type unit.
