Not it is not the latest version.

AL = Jan 2007
AS = July 2007
BD = Jan 2008 (not available yet, but in some cars already)

I thought not! Do you know additions are on the newer disks - is it just map updates from Navteq?

craigyb,

I have just bought a brand new 2008 model year A8 (£50k of car!) and have the AL version supplied - do you think a car straight from the factory should have the latest disk? As far as I can see my disk doesn't even have the M6 toll road!

I have just read on another forum that you have a BD version - can you supply them? Do you know the part number?

I have contacted the dealer and they seem to have little or no knowledge on this matter - simply stating the disk supplied is correct for the car.

Any advice/help much appreciated

Regards

Steve

I don't think I ever said I had a BD version, I think I said I had seen a BD version. It was a brand new car.

I have since worked on 4 more brand new cars that have come with AL versions of disk, including a new S5.

I am currently running AS and will swap to BD when I find one.

I think you will find that the AL disk does have the toll road.
