Ipod Touch with A4 Navigation Plus

Anyone had any experience using an Ipod with the Navigation Plus DVD< with CD changer in the A4? I have a December 2006 car, and have just bought a new Ipod touch. I would really like to get away from the FM transmitter I'm using, I'm not at all happy with this solution!

Best thing is the Dension gateway 500. Not cheap but a good product and works via the MMI controls.

Dension gateway 500 is NOT compatible with the A4

It is for the A5/A6/A8/Q7 with MOST (MMI) only.

The Dension gateway 100, 200, 300 & 400 will work with the A3/A4/TT & R8

I suppose that if one orders a 2008 A6 with full MMI, GPS+, etc.. and the audi music interface, then one does not need the Dension gateway 500?

also, do you know if the interface works with both ipods AND USB sticks?
