Hi all,
I have just got hold of a lovely Kenwood KVT-729 single din head unit. It has a LCD screen that comes out of it. The control, sat nav and bluetooth boxes all need to hide somewhere (the control box is about the size of mid rang car amp). ..Anu suggestions where to fit them (under the glove box?) in the boot side pods? Thanks, MacLemming |

I have the A4 sedan, so I have everything mounted under the rear deck of the rear windshield, upside-down. They give you what, 20 feet of wiring to do this? It seems as if they want you to take it to your trunk anyway. I'll post pics of you want.
(I also have the amp (X1R), NAVI (G5150) and the rear camera (ccd-2000) block mounted this way.) If yours is an avant, I'd run it to the trunk anyway. Unless you feel comfortable mounting it under the seat. (I really considered it, but the trunk sounded better) |
