single din to double din

hi guy's a quick question i've just bought 1999 vreg a6 2.7 quattro it has the concert sound system (single din) & want to upgrade it to audi satnav which has double din connection is there a convertor out there which can go from single to double

cheers.

you need to buy a double din cage and convert the dash. I did an A4 once, quite a bit of work, took about 6 hours. If you look on Ebay you should find a double din cage. You'll also need to buy another aircon controller because they are mounted lower in the double din cage - also may find on Ebay.
