Default Symphony II Radio

The Symphony II Unit on my 2001 Allroad does not have any Backlight with the Instrument Backlighting, also the Steering Wheel Controls have no Backlight anymore, then the Radio does not turn on or off with the Ignition and has to be switched manual. Sometimes the Steering Wheel Controls just stop working incl. the TIP Controls, when you then turn off the Radio the Tip Controls work again and when you turn the Radio on again its Steering Wheel Controls also function again....... Anybody got any Idea where to start ???

I have the same problem as you. Did you ever find a solution? I tried the fuse on the back of the radio unit, but no luck. Anyone? Thanks in advance.

Edited: I have a 2002 A6 Avant with the Bose option.

From another forum member, I understand that this is a problem with the Transport Mode function. Evidently it is enabled. Anyone know how to disable it?
