You need to get the original remote for the grage door. Hold the button you want to program in your audi, until it blinks steadily (about 30 secs?) and while continuing to hold down the button, grab the graage remote, and hold it button. The audi homelink should blink ecstatically once it syncs with the garage remote.
Now, you need to tell your garage motor to accept your homelink remote's signal. There should be a button somewhere near the motor. Mine was this really obvious black button. Press it, then run to the audi and hold the button you just programmed. Your garage door should open. In case that didn't work, let me look at my manual again and report if it was different. Good luck |

heard of many people pointing the original garage door remote at the buttons on the visor when they try to program. you must point it at the sender/reciever, which on an 06 A4 is near the right headlight (outside the car). see your owner's manual for the location on your car.
