Trunk Cd-Changer...help

I have a 2000 A4 with a Symphony Stereo and just purchased the CDC 6 cd changer for the trunk. When it is installed I get Error code 1 for all 6 CD`s.
Any ideas please !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Try cleaning your disks and the laser eye in the changer. Had this problem with mine and now ok.

make sure the disks are in the right direction when placed in the holder and clean them too.

The discs are probably upside down
