Hello im new to this forum, how is everyone. i have a 2001 audi a3 with a concert cd player and a factory 4" sub in the boot. i was wondering if it would be possible for me to disconnect the 4" sub and fit an aftermarket amp and sub to the factory head unit. and advice would be appreciated. thanks phil

ys it is possible to do so if you can get to the wires connect the sub to the factory HU you can just unplug the factory sub and use a line out converter taking the signal from the factory sub wires to run to the amp
