Hi folks, I have a 2006 A6 4.2 w/ bose unit. Sounds pretty good. Just need to add a subwoofer to get some rear base. The stock system has absolutely no base once system is faded to the rear. Stock sub is located in the front. I realise that subwoofer base is non directional but the sound in the car is front loaded. Would appreciate any help from someone who has tweaked a 2006 bose. Have been to a some professional custom stereo installers and either they tell me it cant be done, or theyve never done one but can tinker and get it done. I'm not really ready to tinker w/ a 60K car. Help please.

Hi jamcik!
I just added a woofer in my 1999 A6 successfully. But my stereo is not BOSE.. If you have the same plug as i do going into the woofer, i can probably tell you where to steal the signals for a additional woofer! If you're interested, send me a picture of the existing plug connected to you're original woofer! ps. it will most lightly not be too proffecionally done.. |
