Hi I am a new visitor,

I am expecting my Audi A3 Sportback in September and the factory setup is as follows:

Concert II + Bose sound system + Multifunction Steering wheel.

I was wondering if i could replace the factory concert with an aftermarket lcd touchscreen which would be hooked up with an I-pod.

A few questions for the users and experts:

1. Will the aftermaket lcd (Clarion VRX848RVD) be compatible with the BOSE sound system and the multifunction steering wheel?
2. Does the aftermarket lcd fit in the place of the factory concert?
3. If the above is not possible, is there an aftermarket lcd solution which would be compatible with BOSE & I-pod?

Thank you.

Oh i forgot to clarify one of my questions, sorry.

What i meant was if the lcd has the right dimensions to fit in the dash where the factory is now?

I don't mind losing the multifunction steering wheel, cos it was too late to cancel that extra on the order.

Thanks again.

By the way, i fitted the clarion lcd in my A3 and at the end of the month i am getting the oem adaptor for the steering wheel controls so i guess i am not gonna loose it after all.

Thanks for the advice anyway, the forum kicks ****.
