I have installed a new headunit in my a3 '98, the problem is that when i start my car it doesn't start the stereo. I have to push the power button to make it work, once on the stereo does save the settings from the last time used.

Can anyone help?

I do not do my aftermarket work myself, but I believe you have to connect your aftermarket deck to the relay which turns on your original radio through the ignition. I have a Kenwood KVT-715DVD touchscreen deck installed in my car.
