Howdy!
My gf's brother has a 2004 S4, and he wants me to put a pioneer avic-1 in. Most of the audi's I've dealt with at the shop I work at are plug and play: grab the prefabbed kit, and head unit, throw it in. This is going to be a little bit different because from what I understand, I don't *think* any companies have made a dash kit yet. I talked to a guy from oregon who has installed one before, he told me that he took a 99 Lexus GS kit, used it as a template, and fiberglassed the dash kit. I'm sure you guys have put aftermarket HUs in your cars, but how did you go about it? Thanks a lot guys, Sorry If I'm repeating a topic, I searched but couldn't find anything Jeremy |
