I have a 1997 Audi A6 Quattro that I bought used a few years ago. Recently, I had some problems which caused my radio to go to "safe mode". When I went to get the code to reprogram the radio, the info was missing from my paperwork. Do any of you have any idea what this code is or where I can find it? Audi wants to charge $80.00 to fix it.

You can email me at chadcampbell2003@hotmail.com

Thanks!

I had the same issue with my A6. They changed the system so that the unit has to be sent to texas I believe. I got mine in the day befor ethe system changed. The code is a combination between the VIn and the #'s on the side of the radio (but it would need to be pulled).
Sorry I can't be more helpful
