I have a 96 Audi A4 and want to add a CD changer to it, however the radio has no CD option and the trunk has two square things mounted on both sides, the right side seems to be a speaker. Is the one on the left the place to plug in a compatible CD changer? Your expertise will be greatly appreciated.

well.. in the back left compartment there *should* be a wire somewhere for a prewired CD changer. i'm not sure when audi started prewiring their cars for CDCs, but it'll be in the left trunk compartment if its there.

the speaker in the right compartment is a mini-subwoofer for your bose sound system.
