Unhappy C6 Audi A6-rear parktronic/warning Buzzer-not working

Hey Everyone I have had on and off problems with my rear parktronic buzzer/horn. At first the system worked perfect, and then about six months later it sounded weird and sometimes worked or didn't. Now 5 months later it is not working at all. I scanned acoustic parking module with Vag-com and it said warning buzzer/short on power or ground, so it is the Buzzer.I checked my service/repair manual for location ,it is under the left seat belt guide which the cpiller trim, part of the seat and a lot more other stuff has to come out. I bought one from genuinevwaudiparts.com for 18 bucks with shipping. now the problem is how do i get to it I cant even budge that cpiller trim, the tight audi interior is a gift and a curse. theres got to be an easier way! yikes http://www.audi-forums.com/attachmen...&d=1258916529:

Default damn parktronic buzzer!

Hi there,

Did you ever figure out how to replace this? The dealership wants to charge me $300 and I was trying to find an alternative. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Where did you get the service/repair manual? Did you buy it or did you find a place to download it?
