haha what an idiot...just saw that PDF again and I think that is the control box!

Looking from behind, there is the "1,2,3,4,5" and on the box, I see 5 of those plastic lugs

PDF shows 3 cables, picture shows 3 too

Block "C" which is the silver block
A being on the left and B on the right

Hope it's safe to unplug that silver one... I assume the wire plugs into the silver plug?

Had a few mins so removed the plug (grey/silver one)
Counted the holes and it is 32 so that's the "block C" found

I dont know where you plug this wire into though. The plug itself has holes as opposed to pins and it connects flush to the port it goes into

Do I cut a wire and join it from cable to wire or from engine bay to wire or...?

The plug is def connected to the switch because as soon as I removed it, the front lights did not turn on when I turned them on via the switch. Also the under footwell light went out too

Made the change with vagcom earlier despite still not being able to plug in the cables

Changed 09 to xenon (from 0001121 to 0002121). Hopefully it knows I have washers as the third option was xenons w/o washer which I assume is "without washer"

The errors have gone from 4 (main and dip per side) to 2 (side/day lights per side) which I assume is the second wire.

Also if I had my lights on the sidelights (they do work but I still get error) then the main beam works when I pull the lever but basically the xenons turn on
But when the main lights are on, the beam does not work (I assume the wire would mean the bulb on the left of the xenon should in theory turn on)

So if ANYONE can help me with these two wires then I'm done

Status at present is that I have found the control box and cable "C" but dont know how to get the wire in

Thanks

Akash, I write kufatec an e-mail where this unit is located and explain to them that we drive RHD and maybe the location is other than LHD, so I`m waiting for their reply.

I will use your picture and I will forward it to them and ask is this is the right control unit and where this two cables from each adapter need to be connected.

What happened with your vag cable did you get replacement ?

Akash, just to late you know my friend that I attached your photo and send it to kufatec for more connection info. Let see what the reply will be. I ordered the adaptors from them this morning so I expect more explanation.

Thanks for that
Yes sorry I did have a vag-com lead just for today but don't worry, I'll help you out! I ordered a proper one from Ross-tech yesterday so I should have it this week hopefully - £200 ! but it will be worth it.

The "copies" keep failing

I think for adjustment, the motors are in the headlight but it needs sensors on the suspension so it will not auto-adjust

I'll wait for a reply from you / kufatec and see how it goes
