ive got a 2006 3.2 s line (multitronic - 7 speed), this is what im getting out of it.

here in the UK petrol is just under £5.00 per gallon at the moment.. i filled it up with £20.00 the other day and I got 120 miles out of it (thats driving around town in rush hour stopping and starting) if i got my maths right, thats about 30 mpg.

On the motorway (highway), its seems do about 35mpg. And seems to be more economical than my A4 2.0t, i'm making this comparison on a round trip that we have done in both cars. It was 180 miles each way, the A4 needed to be filled up, about 1/4 of the way into the journey on the way back, and the a6, didnt need to be filled up until about 160 miles into the journey.. not very scienctific .. probably down to a bigger tank on the A6.

Thanks thats much higher than the window sticker in the US on the car. That says 17 25.
