Hello,
Just bought a 2006 A6 2.7 TDI S Line manual with 25k on the clock. The car was last serviced at 18k and the service indicator tells me the next service is 13k away. Is there anythig I have to do in between? oil changes etc. Thanks. |

Would you expect the service interval to increase after the first service? My 2.0TDI A6 had 18600 miles to next service showing when I picked it up and every time I look it still seems to want the first service to happen at 18600 (currently done 13900 and the miles remaining shows as 4700) I've clocked up my 13900 in about 18 weeks doing mostly longish journeys at steady motorway speeds below 80mph so I would have thought pretty much perfect conditions for the engine to work under so I'm surprised its not increasing towards the maximum 20,000 (or whatever?) I'm wondering if maybe its a bit cautious for the first one but may hopefully increase subsequently?? Its already effectively had an oil change as its already used up 4 litres of oil which I find shocking but the dealer says is perfectly normal!
