I have a 2.7tdi SE C6, and am having problems getting it tracked correctly, had it done again today at a cost of £35 and not it pulls like a pig to the right, although before it pulled to the left, any idea anyone of what the correct track settings should be - so that I can tell the clowns down my local tyre centre
Thanks

my car had its tracking done about august as it was pulling to the right slightly, the local tyre centres around here would not touch it, as apparently to do it properly you need some special kit that the dealer has. Some normal tyre centre will do it but it wont be spot on, that's why most declined as they said they will do but it wont be perfect. I took mine back to the dealer where i got my car from , it took them about 3 hours to do it. They said it needs to be tracked using a laser or some kind of optical device, I cant remember the exact thing they said now but they did it spot on. It didnt cost me anything because told them not happy that such an expensive car should lose its tracking so quick, even when the wheels have never been kerbed, they first blamed it on the british roads being poor and said its quite normal for every cars tracking to go out, but when i offered them to drive my 5 year old vectra with 100k on it, told them Ive had that car since new and was about 1/4 of the price i paid for the a6 and that never suffers from the poor british road, they were happy to correct the problem for free.

Hi - thanks for the reply - managed to get it tracked at the garage last night (again) looked like they had not put the brace on the steering wheel correctly and it had moved 3 degrees out.
Called Audi and they wanted £289 for a full alignment - what a rip off, so called another place in Surrey and they will do it for £69.99 so it doesn't drive well tomorrow I will take it Surrey and ask them to sort it out.. thanks for the advice..
