Strange bluetooth issue

Hi, this is my first post so bear with me.

I have an '07 A6 S Line with the MMI system installed and the bluetooth phone connection kit. All was working fine, the system recognized the name of my phone in settings as SE P1i and it automatically connected everytime i got into the car, yesterday i was playing around and deleted the phone from the settings list and then when i re-paired it the system only recognized the phone as "local host" and not SE P1i also it automatically connects first time but then when i get in and out of the car during the day it does not pair, i have to manually pair up from the phone. Anyone got any ideas??

In the settings on the phone, go to Bluetooth, select My devices, Highlight your Audi bluetooth, select Authorise device and it should sort out the problem

no that's the problem. Everything is set to authorized and all is correct. The issue is it connects automatically when I get in the car at say 7am but if I then get out the car and back in at various times of the day it will not connect automatically once its done it that first time, you have to manually connect. It seems all of a sudden it needs 4+ hours switched off before it connects automatically itself??????
