It's a 1 hour installation, tricky fitting the brackets into the glovebox, also power is a pain in the backside. I added a double fuse box spade to the +12V connection and a ground ring lug to the ground connection, then you can simply pop the +12v into the permanent live fuse holder (RED) and attch the ground wire at the earthing point below the fuse holders.
You retain your CD changer, basically the Dension shows up as CD 1-6 and the CD changer and CD 7 -12, remeber to turn off the Dension into service mode when sending the car into Audi or the ywill not be able to perform certain updates via the CD changer.

vey easy mate. all you have to do is remove the glovebox and all the connection is donbe behind it. you have to loop the most cable and then connect a main +ve and -ve earth. there are som factory holes already in the bottom corner of the box just etch your ipod and usb wires thru it. thats all. mine working great.

Hi,
I have managed to connect the optics etc, but i wasnt sure where i could connect the +ve and -ve to though. I tried using the CD changer power, but it would not work for me! I have temp wired using a cig adapter, but this is not very neat!! but have got the system working, and its excellant to use through the mmi. Thanks. |

you will get the +ve on behind the glove box at the fusebox junction. use the red blue cable. thats a main +ve.
