Default Bluetooth intermittent disconnection problem resolved

I seem to have resolved the bluetooth connection problem which has plagued me since taking delivery of my car in March.

Having tried three different phones including my current Nokia 6300, I still experienced intermittent disconnection problems. I do not have the centre armrest fitting kit as there isn't one yet available for this phone so I have simply been using the centre console ashtray as a convenient place to store the phone.
Result = Intermittent disconnection of Bluetooth.

However, placing the phone either in my shirt-pocket, or inside the armrest is a different matter. Result = No disconnections.

I have no idea why this should be but it works. Maybe something electrical around the heating controls area causes interference with the signal, leading to disconnection. Anyway, as long as I keep it away from that area, it's fine.

Thought this might be useful to anyone with the same problem.
