Service in XXXX kilometers

My car has to be taken to the service for the next inspection.
I got the message displayed that I had to take it there in the next 1000 km and it started to cound down.
Now it displays 100 km, but the closest service is 150 km far, so I will not be able to get there in the displayed distance.

Does anyone know what happens if the reach this 100 km?
Will the car stop or what?
Will I losse the guarantee?

By the ways it is a 2.5 years old A6 TDI quattor having 140000 km.
