Why don't many people reply to threads on this site? There are plenty of viewers, but not many replies.

It only takes a couple of minutes to set up and log in. Surely the world can't be full of people with many questions and no answers?

Hi,
I think most people are curious and some have probably the same sort of problems as the one asking the question.
Soo, they just look for answers in other posts.
I rather not get somebody guessing an answer to a problem. I prefer only getting one answer if it solves my problem.

I see you are driving a new A6 3.0 TDI S-Line, just like me. Mine is the 6 speed manual and I love the acceleration in 2nd and 3rd gear. It leaves everything standing when you come out of a speed limit area.
Does the Le Mans edition with the 19" wheels not make the drive too harsh?

Fair point I suppose.

As for the Le Mans, I got it mainly for its looks and the free extras (leather, metallic, wheels, luxury pack). I drove a few S-lines (2.7 and 3.0) and could not detect a sigificant deterioration in the ride when driving the Le Mans with 19" wheels. The S-Line ride is quite harsh anyway, and an extra inch on the wheel diameter didn't seem to worsen it. The big difference is that it is a massive improvement on the ride of my 2.5tdi C5 Sport , which crashed and bumped about all over the place. So I'm more than happy with the car and the tiptronic box is superb.
