CD Changer stuck in glove blox

Hi all

Ive been trying to install the ipod connector for my C6 chassis.

I have the correct removal keys, but the keys just rip out when trying to remove the CD changer from the glove box. There are signs that this unit has been stuck in here before, someone has slid a screw driver down the side.

Do you think removing the glove box and pushing from behind would help with the keys in?

Really frustrating

It may help - you can only try! Must be annoying though!

Which iPod connector have you got?

Yep it worked!

Just remove the 5 bolts
lower the glovebox from the dash
remove the 2 plugs take out glovebox
insert flimsy keys and press from behind.
then put it all back with cd changer OUT!

Im stoked, conquered it. I am going to be installing the Gateway 500 ipod connector as posted recently in this forum.

Are all the cd changers the same for the A4? Can I buy one off ebay and plonk one in the glovebox or is it more complicated than that?
