Default Multitronic box/colour coded bumper

Hi my A6 AvantSE 2.7TDI is 3 months old. Great car, but a couple of niggles:

The car has the multitronic box - on cold start the car won't 'creep' without revs and then surges rather than creeps forwards or back until I back the revs off.

Is this a charecteristic of the multitronic box?

Already I've a couple of scrapes of the colour coded rear bumper back to the black plastic -done with suitcases etc nothing too lumpy.

Any other owners had the same problem?

I'd be grateful for any comment before I tackle Audi

Cheers
