Just installed the Audi DVD navigation system into an A6 Saloon. Took around 3 hours to position the GPS antenna, nav unit and get power for the system. With a 2006 backup disk the unit has full TMC operational in an 06 A6.

Hello,
I also plan to fit the SatNav system to my 2005 A6 but am having problems getting Audi to advise which DVD version number I need to get the TMC information feed for the UK.
Audi have advised me to contact Teleatlas as they apparently provide Audi with the DVD disks but they refer me back to Audi for part number details!

Which DVD Audi part number is on the disk you installed to get TMC operational with UK traffic data?
Which hardware supplier did you use? (Kufatec, conexx?) Any problems with instructions, supply and support?

From yours and earlier posts it definitly sounds to be relatively easy to do.

I used the Kufatec kit, I later found out that Kufatec supply used kit, not new. Their explanation is that they couldn't supply new kit at the prices they charge.

Anyways, it's installed and working.
