Delivery Time - How Long?

I hav been advised that my order for the new A6 avant has been built - but cannot get a due date. Anyone know how long I should now expect to wait until delivery in the UK?

Well, I assume it depends upon the model, color and extras you have ordered. I've no idea about A6 but I ordered A3 Sportsback (I think, it’s one of the most demanding models right now) and I was quoted 8 weeks. Most of the cases I’ve seen people get the delivery in 7 weeks in Europe. In general, Audi is kinda bad in giving proper date. I came to know just 3 days before the delivery (and few others in this forum had had the same sort of experience). During the mid-sixth week, my dealer confirmed me that we gonna get our car after Christmas - no way before Christmas but just the two days later he called me again and said: I have a good news for ya. Your car has left Germany yesterday and will be with you in three days. I ordered on 6th November and drove back home on 21st of December. So, you never know.
