squeal sound....but from where

I have an 04 a6 2.7 and when I am WOT i hear a squealing noise from the engine, any clues?

Hey Sleepr

Is it a churping sound or a squeal.... churping being really bad... probably indicating impending turbo failure... Search YouTube for S4 turbo failure, there are some on there.

no chirping, just sounds kinda like a fan belt, but its a steady squealing noise from maybe the rear of the engine???
