There’s been more than one occasion my front (both) wheels spinning, rear wheels not moving.
I’m puzzled – this should not supposed to happen on Quattro (with all Torsen and other-visco? differentials?? What is the EDL for, if allows spinning? (I'm wondering what happens on a dyno with only front wheels on rollers?) |

EDL(electronic diff lock) has to see a wheel revolving faster than the opposite wheel to work, via the wheel speed sensors, the system will brake the spinning wheel to slow it and give more drive to the gripping wheel, also if the rear wheels have more grip in this situation the central differential(previously known as torsen) will apply more to the rear.
