Can some one help me choose

Hi their I'm new to this forum but I have a choice to Make from the 01 A6 2.7t and the S4 2.7t i know their the same engine but I'm not sure which would suit me the best because i want a car i can customize but yet a car that i can take my daughter in the back. So if some one could please help me choose

What difference does the engine makes to your daughter being able to get in the back?
The car will only go as fast as you make it go!
When your kid is with you, just take it easy.
As for the car, go for the S4. Same engine but bigger everything: Turbo, Brakes, clutch, suspension, trim
Forgot, the same goes for service costs
