Default Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor on A6

Can anybody tell me the location of Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor on 2001 Audi A6 2.7T BiTurbo in the engine compartment. I need to replace the sensor. Thanks

Look at the rear of the engine and you'll see a tube that runs between the two cylinder heads. The temp sensor sits on top of this tube on the passenger side. Don't forget to bleed the pressure and keep an eye on that fastening clip.
