sunroof wont close

Hello all, I have a 99 A6 and the sunroof will not close. It opens fully all the way and it will partially close if I hit the tilt button, but when I try and turn the nob to any position the sunroof slides way back. Any body with help or similar issues?

Audi dealerships were all booked today and im leaving to drive out of town in a few days!

there is a tool in your car to manually close it when such things happen.

thanks, what tool exactly closes the sunroof manually?, and how do I go about doing it for an 99 A6?

i sent you an email, but i'll write the same thing here. the tool is located in with the jack. the instructions on doing this are in the owner's manuak. if you don't have an owner's manual, let me know and i'll explain it to you. hope this helps.
