I recently got a 98 A6 Quatro and I love it.
But, the driver's window does not work and will not roll down. I have also noticed the window lock button for the passenger windows will not work and is in the 'locked' position. So my back passengers can not roll their own windows down. Would you expect the switches for the driver's window and window lock are bad? Or another problem? I've looked in my manual, which explains there is a current over-load system for the windows instead of a fuse. So it can't be a blown fuse for the window. Thanks for your input!, it is greatly appreciated. theMaab |

BTW, I found out that if I use my key to lock and unlock the door it will automatically roll up and down the windows if you hold the key.
I did this and all the windows will roll up and down except the drivers window. So I would expect the problem to be more than just the switch. |
