A6 Avant 2001 Model

I have a 2001 A6 Advant with a 2.8, I want to put nicer 17" wheels on it. Does anyone know if the 17" Eight spoke OEM Wheels from a 2000 A6 4.2 will fit?

im not sure but if the brake system is the same on both cars or they clear
they have the same bolt pattern but i dont know if it will have enough space to clear the brake caliper

most likely it should

I just checked with the local dealer and he said they will fit but the tires will protrude about 22mm further than the stock wheels. But will be perfect if fit with 225/40/17 tires. Thanks again.
