I have a loud noise when put step on the gasoline to move the car.
When I open the hood and try to move the car, I can notice the motor front lift all the way to hit the body of the car. only happens when you accelerate fast when the car is in stop and try it to move it. I hear about a front Motor mount stop. Can someone help me? |

I have the same issue. I hear a bang when the car's weight distribution changes suddenly (e.g. when I step on it, when I lift my foot off the pedal, when braking hard or cornering fast). Does not happen all the time. Rarely, when I start the engine in very cold conditions, I hear the same bang just as the engine starts up.
I'm taking the car in this week, hope to find out where it comes from. What I know for sure is that: 1. My shock absorbers are *VERY* worn. This should not be the problem, but I don't exclude it from the beginning. 2. Some suspension bushings might need replacing, although the majority have been replaced. 3. My engine mounts are pretty bad, since the car's been involved in a major front crash some time ago. I'll keep you updated. |
