Hi,
Help!!!!!

The car will start and idle for 2 seconds then die. It has good fuel pressure at the fuel distributor and fire at the plugs, but it does not seem to be getting pressure at the injection lines. I have a parts car which I have used to replace the fuel distributor, fuel pressure regulator, coil, etc. The engine is in time but it still will not run.
Any Ideas as to what else needs to be checked?

Hi,

Had an A4 1.8 some time ago, and I wanted to test what happens if I remove the immobilizer in the key. When I started the engine with the bare key, and the immobilizer far away :P, after 2 seconds the engine died.

I don't know if your problem is related to this, but what your car does seems so similar. I thought this might be of help. Check the key or try with the spare one.
