Hey all -
2002 A6 3.0 Under each front seat is a courtesy light. For some reason the one under the passenger side seat is not working. I thought that I just had to replace a bulb, so I took it out, checked it with a continuity meter and its fine. I put the probes of the meter on the positive and negative terminals that were plugged into the bulb - nothing. Other side works fine. Does anyone know if these things are wired in series? I'm trying to determine where to start my troubleshooting now that I know that I'm not getting any juice at the socket. Thanks, Charlie |

I thought the same thing on my 2000 A6 Avant. Light behind RF passenger seat wasn't coming on. Even bought replacement bulb.
Then I opened the passenger side rear door to install it, and the light came on! Check this first before you try to pry off the cover again, the tabs can snap off easy. |
