Problem??????

I have a 97 A6 Quattro. I noticed headlights wouldn't work, after checking found horn, ws wipers, turn signals wouldnt operate either. Checked OM and found fuse that covered affected items. Fuse Ok Also notice noise (chattering) when in Neutral and Park. When I turned key to accessory area, lights, ws wipers etc worked. As soon as I start engine they don't work and trans makes noise. Relay? Fuse? OR PROBLEM?

Sounds like an ignition switch problem.
