About to buy a '93 100 CS Quattro Wagon

Hello everybody!

I'm about to buy a 93 100 CS Quattro Wagon. My previous car was a MB 300SD, in case you were wondering when sort of car I'm used to.

This one has pretty much all the options, I think, and around 180k miles. I don't believe the engine or automatic transmission have been rebuilt or replaced.

What should I be looking for when I go for a test drive? Are there any particular characteristics for expensive repairs?

Should I stay away, or is this a good, solid investment? I'd like to get at least 250k out of the vehicle -- is that a realistic expectation?

from what ive heard yes its a great investment. I just bought a 97 a6 2.8 quattro and theyre apparently able to run easily to 250k. Get it!

Your MB300SD was cheaper for parts you will find than the Audi!
