Question how do I change the eBreak cable?

Hi

I have been reading your forum for a while and would like to thank every body for being such a wonderful resource on Audi. I have quesitons on replacing the parking /emergency break cables for my 1996 S6. I searched and could not find any info on this. I was hoping you guys can help me out. I am mechanically inclined. I need to put new eBreak cables for both sides. I found the cables for $50 from online store. I need to know how I can replace them. Anyone here done that? I would appreciate detail instruction, time, tools, and step by step process. Or should I take it to a shop to fix it? I was quoted $250-$350 by a mechanic including parts. Is he asking too much. This can't be that difficult. Thnx for your help.
