Default fuel line renewal

I need to renew the fuel lines on my Audi 100 ( 1994 petrol ). I know it is a pressurised system - would it be ok to use rubber petrol line rather than metal ? Will screw pipe clips be ok for securing the hoses as they are under pressure ?
