A6 parts

My dad got AUDI A6 2.6 SE 1995, his car got some problem with checking system, there have a small electronic screen on the front of drivers which are checking everything is ok before you start drive. Now the screen is not show any thing after he start engin, wot is wrong with that small electronic checking screen, is any body knows, wot is that parts name, where can i get it and how can i fix it. Please Please help me on this! thax

hi, the check screen is only on until you turn the engine on then it should go off and then dissplay temp ,date, radio stn. if its not coming on at all look for a swich on the stems to see if it's been turned off. ( you can turn them off ) but if its broken then you will need to do what none audi drivers do check it your self. note the car will still let you know when its out of oil water ect if mine was broken i would'nt know as mine is turn off bye bye.
