Headlamp question

Hi.. I'm new to this forum so go easy on me

I have a question regarding my A4 2005 mod: Is it possible to "open up" the headlight?? I want to remove those uggly orange covers inside and install some orange bulbs instead..

Welcome Kim...I'm new here as well.

I have read somewhere that it is possible, although I am not sure if that remains true for the newer ones...like mine especially. I will probably spring for the clear lens replacements one of these days.

I think it's possible. Have done it on several bikes before.. I'll have go anyway.. If it goes wrong, at least I'll have a good excuse to buy the new ones

Hi!

It is possible, but it involves baking your headlights in the owen. This heats up the glue thing that holds the front glass. Then you can pull out the orange crap.
Search audizine.com. plenty of people did it.
