Default Front bumper removal help

Hey guys/gals...I posted this in the general tech, but I though I would post it here also...

Ok, so I had the stupid bad luck of catching a rock right in the center of my passenger side fog light on the highway a few weeks ago. (2006 B7)

I have the replacement light housing, but before I start, I was wondering if anyone has any advise/experience in getting the bumper off, or what ever I will have to do to gain access to the fog lights. I have looked around for some tutotials, but haven't had any luck.

Any help or links would be awesome!

On these new B7's you must remove the engine undertray to gain access to the fog lights (unlike on the B6 where you could unscrew and remove from the front).
You do not need to remove the bumper, which is a pretty big job in itself.

Awesome...it has finally warmed up a bit here, so I might crawl under there today.

Thank you!

Good point...my ZiZa bright yellow fog bulbs and clear front side lenses are being delivered from ECS today, so I will make sure to take some good before, during & afters.

Hey Roley140....I am stumped, I removed the engine under tray (2 sections all together) and have run into a dead end...unless I am being completely stupid, the turbo inter-coolers are blocking my access to the rear of the fog assembly.

Do you have any further instructions? or photos?

To remove the foglamp first remove its surround trim with a sharp tug, you will then see 3 screws holding it in, no need to remove bumper or undertray???

wow...I hope I'm not that lame....I'll have to go take a look. This is for a 2006 B7 NON-S-line car....just to be clear.

Thank you Kim...it looks like this is exactly what I needed. I can't believe there isn't a better way to access the fog lamps...even for a bulb change...silly designers.
