This topic has probably been done to death but had no luck on the search function.
At very low speed i have had the known front suspension noise on my totally lovely s4. Car runs beautifully & is a total dream....touches wood ![]() Not been a real problem, only arisen on the odd occasion until the other day when the noise driving slowly round & down a car park ramp had heads turning. Got to the bottom of the ramps, jumped out of car to check i still had 2 front wheels attached! ![]() Any known audi upgrade to this please?

I've heard (felt) grinding coming from the front wheels of my S4 B7 when turning sharply at very low speeds. I've chalked it up to clutching of the Quattro.
The S4 has so much more weight on the front gear with the 4.2. I had an A4 B6 before with a 1.8T, and it also "ground" the clutching at low speed tight turns, but much less so, as a much lighter car. I've not asked the mechanics about it. |
